Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. The same year, She made her debut album of music It's time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her work between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic characters as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down in Toronto ever since.
