Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. At the age of two, she was abandoned by her mother to get away from her abusive husband. Pickler was brought back to her mom in the year 1995, when she assumed custody. However, things didn't work out as expected. When she turned 12, the court gave back Pickler to her parents - whom she grew up with. Pickler needed to look after of her siblings without her parents. She admitted she no longer had time to learn and she began to understand how to make a living as a homemaker at a young age.
