Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has received numerous awards for her works. She advocates human rights for animals. Her work has received acclaim for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). She was drawn to becoming an artist was inspired by her upbringing in the New York family of artists. In the beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Then she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top box office star in the world after only three films. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw got married to three different people.
